Software FAQs

Can I copy data from other software into PHAWorks RA Edition and PHAWorks Lite?

Data can be copied from other programs (e.g., Microsoft Excel®) and pasted into tables, fields, and the worksheet. Based on the format of the data being copied and the location where the data is being pasted, the following paste options may be available.

  • Table of Entries - If the source data contains rows and columns, the data can be pasted as a table. In areas where tables (e.g., list of drawings) are used, the paste can only be completed in the table (e.g., display of rows and columns) using the displayed fields (hidden fields are ignored). Fields displayed outside the table are ignored when using the Table of Entries paste. If the columns being pasted exceed the number of columns displayed, the software will warn not all columns were pasted.

  • List of Entries - Data will be pasted as separate entries (one entry per row). If the data contains rows and columns, the separate entries will be pasted following the row and columns layout left to right.

  • Single Entry - All data will be pasted within a cell. If the data contains rows and columns, data pasted within the cell will follow the row and columns layout left to right.
