What file types can PHAWorks RA Edition and PHAWorks Lite open?

Compatibility between PHAWorks Lite and PHAWorks RA Edition.

You can run PHAWorks Lite and PHAWorks RA Edition on the same computer. They are all independent programs.

PHAWorks Lite

• PHAWorks Lite can open PHAWorks 5 files and PHAWorks Lite files.
• PHAWorks Lite can only save files in PHAWorks Lite format.
• PHAWorks Lite cannot open PHAWorks RA Edition files.

PHAWorks RA Edition

• PHAWorks RA Edition can open PHAWorks 5 files, PHAWorks Lite files, and PHAWorks RA Edition files.
• PHAWorks RA Edition can only save files in PHAWorks RA Edition format.

Notes

• Any PHAWorks 5 file opened in PHAWorks Lite or PHAWorks RA Edition will not be altered and can still be opened in PHAWorks 5. You must complete a Save As when opening a PHAWorks 5 file in PHAWorks Lite or PHAWorks RA Edition.
• Any PHAWorks Lite opened in PHAWorks RA Edition will not be altered and can still be opened in PHAWorks Lite. You must complete a Save As when opening a PHAWorks Lite file in PHAWorks RA Edition.
• Once a file is converted to PHAWorks Lite or PHAWorks RA Edition; PHAWorks Lite or PHAWorks RA Edition should be used moving forward for that PHA. You do not want to be updating the same PHA in earlier versions of the software.
