How do I import a CSV file into Excel that was exported from PHAWorks RA Edition or PHAWorks Lite with symbols?
If you had inserted symbols as data entry in the file, to open the exported data in Microsoft® Excel® please follow the steps below. Please note these instructions are using latest version of Excel 365 as of May 4, 2021 so your steps may differ.
- Run Excel
- Create a new file
- Click on "Data"
- Click on "From Text/CSV"
- Select the CSV file and click "Import"
- Click "Transform Data" button
- Click "Close & Load" button in the ribbon
If you are not inserting symbols as data entry in the file, it should be OK to open the file directly into Excel.
