Risk Analysis and Decision Making
Course Description
This course explains how measures of risk are developed
from accident frequencies and consequences and how they are used in
decision making. The various ways in which risk estimates can be presented
are covered. Comparison with tolerable risk criteria is also discussed.
Course is only available for In-House training.
Target Audience
Process safety personnel who need to understand how
risk estimates are developed and how they are used in decision making.
Prerequisite
An engineering or scientific background facilitates
understanding of the course material. Attendees should bring a scientific
calculator to the course.
